MT – Masters of Torque. Nach der Präsentation der Dreizylinder Yamaha MT-09, schieben die Japaner nun die kleinere Schwester, die Yamaha MT-07 – mit einem 689ccm Zweizylinder Motor nach. Eckdaten: 74.8PS, 68Nm@6,500 RPM, und 164kg Trockengweicht. 41mm Gabel, 180/55-ZR17 hinten, 120/70-ZR17 vorn. Sitzhöhe 805mm, Slimseat. Full LED Display mit Ganganzeige. Wave discs Bremsscheiben vorn und hinten. Außerdem kündigt Yamaha die „MT-09 Street Rally“ an, eine Straßenrenn-Version des Dreizylinder Bikes MT-09 mit aggressiverem Styling. Wir sind gespannt. Was die Kosten, den Preis der Yamaha MT-07 anbelangt – der steht leider noch aus. Ebenso wie eine erster Test des neuen Yamaha MT Zweizylinders.
