Wow. Der nächste Honda Civic Type R (der mich interessiert), kommt in 2015. Und er kommt gut, wie erste Fotos zeigen. Der Honda Civic Type R 2015 wird Hondas erstes europäisches Modell mit dem neuen VTEC Turbo sein. Der 2-Liter Honda Vierzylinder ist als Direkteinspritzer mindestens für 280PS gut.
Am Nürburgring auf das Auto angesprochen, meinte Honda’s WTCC Fahrer Gabriele Tarquini dazu:
The car and the characteristics of the car were fantastic. I was really impressed by the power and the torque of the engine but also by the set-up they achieved…The car is very pointed on the front and very fast to change direction’. ‘This car is very close to my racing car and you can feel very well the DNA of Type R.
Heißt so viel wie:
„Ich war von der Power des Motors richtig beeindruckt. Das Auto ist auf die Front ausgelegt und schnell um die Ecken zu lenken. Es ist sehr nahe dran an meinem Rennauto und man kann die DNA des Type R sehr gut fühlen“

Der Frontspoiler gefällt mir nicht so besonderes am Type R. Entweder tiefer ziehen oder weniger schaufelartig an der Seite bitte!
